BACHELOR OF SCIENCE (B.Sc.) IN CLINICAL EMBRYOLOGY
A Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in clinical embryology is an internationally recognized qualification that gives academic and practical understanding of embryology for embryologist and clinicians working in the field.
Objective:
At finish of the course, student would have:
- Obtained the essential comprehension of Human Reproductive Biology, Human Genetics, Infertility,
Assisted Reproductive Technology, Pre- Implantation Genetic Diagnosis. - Gives you an exclusive quality of education in clinical embryology.
- Students develop an understanding of Embryology Lab Work (IVF, ICSI, Embryogenesis, Implantation,
Cryopreservation of gametes/embryo, Embryo Biopsy) Created abilities in the micromanipulation
of gametes/embryo. - Students develop an understanding of Andrology Lab Work (Semen Analysis,
Sperm Retrieval Technique, Sperm Function Test, and Semen Preparation Technique for different
kinds of IVF procedure). - The program will provide in-depth knowledge/understanding of the male and female reproductive
systems and associated disorders responsible for infertility.
Eligibility Criteria:
Completion of 10+2 education in science stream with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks.
Course Duration
The 3-year B.SC. course comprises 6 semesters of a half year term and students will show up for 2 theories and 2 practical assessments toward the finish of every semester. students will embrace research project work in the last semester.
Career Opportunities
Embryology is a new and growing field. The one who has a degree in BSC clinical embryology will be able to work in the IVF lab as a junior and senior embryologist and can maintain the lab. With experience, one can take more responsible positions as a manager or lab director. One can pursue a Ph.D. In clinical embryology and work as a clinical embryologist.
