BACHELOR OF SCIENCE (B.Sc.) & MASTER OF SCIENCE (M.Sc.) (INTEGRATED) IN CLINICAL EMBRYOLOGY – 4 YEARS
The Integrated B.Sc. & M.Sc. in Clinical Embryology is an internationally recognized dual-degree program designed to provide a strong academic foundation along with advanced practical training in human embryology. This integrated course prepares students for professional roles as clinical embryologists and specialists working in Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) laboratories.
Program Objective
By the completion of the program, students will:
Gain comprehensive knowledge of Human Reproductive Biology, Human Genetics, Infertility, Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART), and Pre-Implantation Genetic Diagnosis (PGD).
Receive high-quality, integrated education covering both undergraduate and postgraduate levels of Clinical Embryology.
Develop in-depth understanding of Embryology Laboratory practices, including IVF, ICSI, embryogenesis, implantation, cryopreservation of gametes and embryos, and embryo biopsy.
Acquire advanced skills in the micromanipulation of gametes and embryos.
Build strong competence in Andrology Laboratory techniques, such as semen analysis, sperm retrieval methods, sperm function tests, and semen preparation techniques for different IVF procedures.
Gain detailed insight into male and female reproductive systems and the disorders responsible for infertility.
Eligibility Criteria
Completion of 10+2 (Higher Secondary) education in Science stream (P.C.M.B.)
Minimum 45% aggregate marks
Course Duration
The Integrated B.Sc. & M.Sc. in Clinical Embryology is a 4-year program, divided into 8 semesters, each of six months duration.
Each semester includes two theory and two practical examinations
A research project is undertaken in the final semester to develop research aptitude and scientific understanding
