DOCTORATE OF PHILOSOPHY (Ph.D.) IN CLINICAL EMBRYOLOGY
Upon successful completion of the program, students will:
Attain advanced understanding of Human Reproductive Biology, Human Genetics, Infertility, Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART), and Pre-Implantation Genetic Diagnosis (PGD).
Develop high-level academic and research competence in Clinical Embryology.
Gain comprehensive exposure to Embryology Laboratory practices, including IVF, ICSI, embryogenesis, implantation, cryopreservation of gametes and embryos, and embryo biopsy.
Acquire advanced expertise in the micromanipulation of gametes and embryos.
Develop thorough understanding of Andrology Laboratory techniques, such as semen analysis, sperm retrieval methods, sperm function tests, and semen preparation techniques for various IVF procedures.
Gain in-depth knowledge of male and female reproductive systems and the disorders responsible for infertility.
Eligibility Criteria
Master’s degree in Clinical Embryology, Biology, Life Sciences, or related disciplines
Degree must be obtained from a recognized university
Course Duration
The duration of the Ph.D. program is as per UGC guidelines, which include:
Minimum of 2 years plus 6 months of mandatory coursework
